I almost forgot the best part!!

I almost forgot to post these pics! My kids have got some great aunts, and for Christmas as their gifts to them, Kristin and Melinda took them to Build-a-Bear Workshop! As you can tell from the pictures-the kids LOVED it! Aspen made a ballerina rabbit-complete with ballet shoes and tutu! Brylee had asked (at the last second) for a unicorn from Santa, he wasn't able to get one to her, so Brylee found a pink unicorn, then topped it off with a Cinderella dress with glass slippers and a crown!!! Porter, of course, made a "heehee" (horse-for those of you who don't speak Porternese) he had a Jazz uniform with basketball shoes too! The kids loved their animals, and had a fabulous time making them-stuffing them-adding hearts- and giving them a "bath". They told me evry detail off the whole experience over and over!! While the kids were with my Mom and Sisters, Brian and I caught a movie!! This is a huge treat for us, we love going to the theatre's in Salt Lake (come to Jerome and you will see why) and as a plus we didn't have to pay for a babysitter---SCORE!!! Thanks to my amazing sisters for loving my children so much--they are loved just as much back by my spoiled children!!!

Little Children do have words given unto them many times, which confound the wise and the learned.

These are just a few of my favorite things my kids say that make me laugh, I will be adding to it often so, watch for new fun stuff!!

Porter informed me that he was a boy and Aspen and Brylee are girls, so asked how he knew that. I was a little worried about the answer, I was afraid I was going to get an anatomy lesson, instead he said "I am a boy because I have boy toys!"

Brylee asked me the other day if Jesus knew the words we were saying in our heads. And I told her yes-she said "uh oh, I better start thinking nicer things!"

In the car the other day Porter was trying to tell me something and I could not for the life of me understand him. Sometimes the girls can translate, so Iasked them what he was saying. Brylee said "I know he is saying popcorn in spanish--- PACO CORN!" That is what it sounded like, but I don't think that is how you say popcorn in spanish!!

We came in after the kids had been playing outside and Brylee was trying to tell Brian something about a rock and her nose. He came to the conclusion there was a rock WAY up her nose!!! After many-MANY tries to get it out we finally removed it. Brian gave her the "don't stick stuff up your nose" talk. And she said "I didn't stick it up there-I just fell on it and it went up there!" And Aspen tried to tell us she saw Brylee running and the rock just "jumped" up into her nose!! We apparently need to have the "honesty" speach-AGAIN!!

The other day we were in the car and Brylee farted, she very politely said "excuse me mom I burped!" I laughed and told her "no, I think you farted." She said" Oh yeah mouths burp and bums fart!"

This morning while watching Dora, Brylee was singing along. They were singing Happy Birthday to Boots-in spanish- Felize Compleanos (sp?) But, Brylee was singing "Please poopy on nose!"

Last sunday was a particularly hard one. They moved sacrement meeting to the end of church and I HATE it! Brylee was in the middle of screaming about who knows what and Brian was holding her trying to calm her down and she starts screaming "My panties are stuck in my bum!!!"

Aspen loves seeing the Temple, and while is Salt Lake we drove past the Jordan river Temple and she said "Mom, how come Jesus isn't at the Temple today?" and before I could respond she said "Oh yeah he is still in the manger!"

Brylee had diarrhea and was going to bathroom often and Aspen said "Mom, I think she has a bum headache!"
